Admission is based solely on the merit at the
entrance test.

• The candidate should have passed a BCA/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering or an equivalent Degree. OR
• Passed B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level (with additional bridge Courses as per the norms of the concerned University).
• Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination..Admission Procedure: Through Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (http://kea.kar.nic.in)  

Admission to the course is open to any graduate of this University or graduate of any other University recognized by Shivaji University, satisfying the following conditions: 

• The candidate should have secured at least fifty percent marks at the aggregate of all years Of Graduation Examination. 
• The student must have taken Mathematics at XII std. as one of the subjects. 
• The candidate should not be employed at the time of admission and should not take employment during the tenure of course. 
• The candidate should not be above twenty-eight years of age as on 30th June of the year of his admission. 
• Subject to the above conditions, the final admission is based solely on the merit at the entrance test. Every candidate has to appear for the entrance test conducted during the year in which he/ she is seeking admission. 
• Subject to the conditions listed in a) to e) above, seats are reserved as per the rules of admission to another Post-Graduate course of this University. 
• However, 10% of seats are reserved for the candidates from the other University. His/Her Entrance test score should not be less than the last admitted candidate of Shivaji University Kop.
