Admission Details
Admission to B.Tech courses is done through EAMCET common entrance tests conducted by the Govt. of Telangana. 70% of the seats are allotted for the merit students based on their rank in EAMCET. 30% of the seats are under NRI/Management quota. In addition, diploma holders are admitted into second-year B.Tech to the extent of 20% intake based on the merit in ECET, under the lateral entry scheme.
Admissions to regular B.Tech programs are made based on the rank secured in Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture & Medicine Common Entrance Test (TSEAMCET) conducted by Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad. Three-year Diploma Holders, with Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TSECET) ranking are eligible for admission into B.Tech Programmes.

1. Eligibility for admissions to 1st year B. E /B. Tech programs
2. Eligibility for admissions to 2nd year BE/B.Tech programs under the Lateral Entry scheme
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
