Admission to all courses in JMIETI is by the All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE), Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES), and KUK. Online counselling is being conducted by the Department of Technical Education, Govt. of Haryana, every year as per the Rank/Score of the qualifying exam (JEE, NEET, OLET).

The Admission to B.Tech shall be done by Haryana State Counseling (HSCS)/National Informatics Centre (NIC), Government of India through online off campus counselling. Counselling for B.Tech (1st year) shall be based on JEE (Main) All India Rank, Conducted by HSCS.

Eligibility Criteria

The Candidate Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination from recognized Board/University with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
