CAP seats include a minimum of 80% of sanctioned intake, lateral entry for all seats of direct second year, and the Tuition Fees Waiver Scheme (TFWS) seats. CAP seats are filled as per the rules and regulations of DTE, Mumbai.
Admissions in Under Graduate (UG) program are carried out in the institute as per the norms of the Directorate of Technical Education – Maharashtra State. The rules and regulations prescribed by All India Council for Technical Education, Directorate of Technical Education – Maharashtra State, and the University of Mumbai are applicable.
Eligibility Criteria
The student should have passed a 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
