Here is a simple story outline that you can use as a guide:
Introduction | Introduce the main character and the setting. Set the scene and establish the tone of the story.
Conflict | Introduce the main conflict or problem that the character will face. This could be an external conflict (e.g. a natural disaster, a villain, a war) or an internal conflict (e.g. a moral dilemma, a fear, a personal struggle).
Rising Action | Develop the conflict by adding obstacles, challenges, and complications. This is where the character faces adversity and tries to overcome it.
Climax | The moment of highest tension in the story. This is where the conflict comes to a head and the character is forced to make a difficult decision or take a risky action.
Falling Action | The aftermath of the climax. This is where the character deals with the consequences of their actions or decisions.
Resolution | The story reaches a conclusion. This could be a happy ending, a sad ending, or a bittersweet ending, depending on the tone of the story.
Moral or Lesson | End the story with a moral or lesson that the reader can take away from the story. This could be an explicit statement or something that is implied through the events of the story.
