Councelling is based on both Community and General rank. First Unreserved seats are alloted on the basis of General rank and then Reserved seats are allocated based on community rank. Based on these rank, opening and closing rank is declared for various colleges.

I don't think you'll have any problem during counselling but in case you have any sort of such problems you should provide clear certificates that verifies your identification. Coz documents are very necessary for varification.
