If your category is general then my answer would be a big no.You have no chances of getting any of the NITs but you can for top private colleges through state counselling.

It seems that you will get the program of your choice. LPU will contact you soon as per their schedule. The university will let you know about counselling soon. I am sure you know that first university sends allotment letter and then calls for counselling. Everything is to be done
