Rank
With a GMR rank of 59000 and SC rank of 6500 in WBJEE, chances for CSE or ECE in government colleges are very low. These branches usually close at much better ranks for SC category students. You may still get admission in other branches like Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical in some government colleges. For CSE/ECE, you have better chances in private colleges under WBJEE counselling. It is advisable to fill all choices to keep options open.
With a NEET rank of 446041, chances of getting a BAMS seat in Karnataka including BLDE Vijayapura are very low.
Government colleges close at ranks below 50,000, and even private/minority quota colleges usually close below 1,00,000.
Your rank is much beyond the last closing ranks in previous years.
You may not get a seat in Karnataka counselling.
You can explore management quota or other state private colleges where cutoffs may be lower.
Keep checking KEA counselling rounds for any updates.
With your 288 marks getting into government colleges is really hard because they usually read higher cutoff if you want to grab the seat there you can look for private institution or through the management quota but the fees will be higher than the government colleges based on your choice you can choose your particular college
Hey Khursheed:)
Thanks for reaching out!
With a 189 rank in TS LAWCET under BC-E your chances depends on the course .For the 3-year LLB at Osmaina University, the round 1 cutoff was around 210,so your rank is well within range and you still stand a good chance of getting a seat in the next rounds if not allotted. But for 5-year LLB course, the cut-off was around 100, which means 189 is outside the limit and Osmania is not within reach.
Keep Osmaina on top of your web options for the 3-year program in phase-2,but also select other good colleges as backups so you don't miss out on admission.

All the best!
With your JEE Main CRL 476199 and OBC rank 173160, admission to Civil Engineering at Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology (IGIT), Sarang under JoSAA counseling is highly unlikely, since even civil branch closing ranks in IGIT usually remain within 50k–80k CRL (general) and much lower for OBC. However, you may try through state counseling (Odisha JEE) where cutoffs are sometimes more flexible, but chances are still very low. You should keep other private/state colleges as backup.
Hey! With a WBJEE GMR of 33652 and being in the OBC-B category, getting a core branch like CSE/ECE in top government colleges is very tough. But still, you have chances in some government engineering colleges in the later rounds (especially 3rd or mop-up).
You can try for colleges like:
Government College of Engineering and Leather Technology (non-core branches)
Government College of Ceramic Technology
Some seats in Kalyani Government Engineering College (in lower demand branches)
Regional Engineering Colleges or other state-aided universities (but mostly in non-core departments).
My suggestion: Keep patience till the last rounds because sometimes seats do open up for OBC-B. Also, keep backup options in private colleges or through management quota if you want a specific branch.
Hello,
With a WBJEE rank of 28,393, chances for B.Tech ECE in good colleges are very low. Jadavpur University and top private colleges close at much lower ranks. Some lesser-known private colleges may still offer ECE at this rank, but options are limited.
You may also try for other branches where cut-offs are higher.
Hope it helps !
Hello there,
With a WBJEE rank of 28,393 , your chances of getting admission to B.Tech in ECE for 2025 in top government engineering colleges in West Bengal are very limited. Generally, ECE (Electronics & Communication Engineering) is a highly sought-after branch, and the cutoff for general category students in most government colleges usually ranges from around 2,000 to 15,000 , while for OBC or reserved categories, it may go slightly higher.
At your rank, you may have better chances in less sought-after government colleges or private engineering colleges in West Bengal offering B.Tech ECE. You should participate in counselling rounds, fill multiple-choice questions strategically , and also explore private colleges in West Bengal to secure admission. Always check the official WBJEE counselling seat matrix to make informed choices.
I would recommend that you use the WBJEE College Predictor Tool by Careers360 to get the list of possible colleges you can get with your rank.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you. Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.
With an AP EAMCET 2026 rank of 8000 in the BCA female category , you have a strong chance of securing a seat in government B.Sc. Agriculture (AGBSc) colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Based on previous years' data, candidates with ranks in the range of 8000 to 120,000+ have been admitted to Tier 2 government colleges.
While specific cutoffs for BCA females in AGBSc are not publicly detailed, your rank places you in a favorable position for admission. You may consider applying to the following government colleges under Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) :
College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad
College of Agriculture, Bapatla
College of Agriculture, Naira
College of Agriculture, Anakapalle
College of Agriculture, Warangal
These institutions have historically admitted students within your rank range.
Participate in Counselling: Ensure you register for the AP EAMCET counselling process through the official portal: https://eapcet-sche.aptonline.in .
Document Verification: Complete the document verification process as per the schedule.
Choice Filling: During the choice filling phase, prioritize the government AGBSc colleges mentioned above.
Seat Allotment: Monitor the seat allotment results and follow the instructions provided for seat acceptance and reporting.
Category Consideration: Your BCA category status may influence the seat allotment process. Ensure you have the necessary documentation to support your category claim.
Rank Variability: Cutoffs can vary each year based on factors like the number of applicants and seat availability. It's advisable to apply to multiple colleges to increase your chances.
Stay Updated: Regularly check the official AP EAMCET counselling website for the latest updates and notifications.
Hey! With a JEE Main rank of around 1 lakh, you still have a good chance to get admission in several engineering colleges that provide quality education at a reasonable fee. For government colleges, you can aim for NITs or GFTIs in branches like Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, as these usually have slightly higher closing ranks. For example, colleges like NIT Goa, NIT Puducherry, and NIT Srinagar might have seats available in certain branches.
Apart from NITs, state government engineering colleges are also a good option, especially under home state quota. They often have lower tuition fees and good faculty, so you can get a solid education without spending much.
If you are open to private colleges, there are options like VIT Vellore, KIIT Bhubaneswar, or Amity University that provide decent infrastructure and placements. However, the fees may be higher than government colleges.
My advice is to focus on branches that are less competitive, check all counseling rounds, and make use of state quotas if applicable. With proper planning, a rank of 1 lakh can still help you get a good college and start your engineering career success
fully.
