Well, This is yet to be checked as most dont specify this. They generally have an age limit however for GAIL it has been specified. So you will have to check as I have known students who have completed their M.Tech and then gotten into a PSU through GATE. So

It depends upon the PSU and what marks you have been asked to upload. some take the 7th semester while some ask for all. For a call by a PSU, you have to qualify in GATE and clear the backlogs by then. Moreover applications of PSUs will start in January
