In PSU you will get good salary compare to the Government employees and you will get nearly at what designation you are as per that norms you will get salary.The specific Government jobs such ias, ips,ifs have 24 hrs job likewise in PSU you have fixed 8 to 10 hours

It is nothing like that, if u score high rank. It doesn't matter but when two candidates having equal marks in gate then they will generally select one who has M.tech or some work experience. Good Luck!!!

If you face major financial problem I would suggest you to go for a PSU. But since you are too much interested in acadamics I suggest you to go for higher studies maybe even in future. If you do higher studies in a good premiere institute (IITs/NITs) you get monthly
