Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore does not accept JEE mains to give admission to the aspirants. You need to appear for KCET or COMEDK. And the admission is  given based on the score of the above mentioned entrance exams.

It depends upon the JEE Main and JEE Advance cut offs, If You manage to qualify the exam by achieving the cut off, You can apply for JOSAA Counselling. It should be noted the cut off for EWS/SC/ST/FEMALES/OBC category is lower than the general category

In order to get admission in Nursing or optometry, they take their seperate entrance exams ,qualifying which will allow you to take admission in various colleges.

They will not reduce your class 12 marks, it will remain as it is irrespective of number of drops.
