UPCET entrance exam is only for the Lateral entry students, MBA and some other but you can't take admission in First year in any of the AKTU college of UP through UPCET. You need to give the JEE entrance exam then only you will be eligible to take
There is a lot of advantages of appearing for LPU- NEST, including attractive scholarship. I would advise you to apply for LPU NEST, it's much easier that way plus it has more scholarship chances but without it also you can take the admission. Admission procedure is very simple in college.
