I think it cant be said that there is no placement in India for AME cources. Also it depends your qualities that either you have good knowledge and skills in this field or not.

And also there is no requirement in any field who dont have the perspective knowledge and skills. I think you should join for this course.

So better don't go for this course.

The admission criteria for the course is varied as various institutes have their very own criteria and process of admission. The admission in any of the IIT in this course is through the candidates performance in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Each candidate seeking admission to M. Tech. Aircraft (Aerospace) Engineering is supposed to take the GATE and on the performance in the test and academic record seats are allotted and the private institutes also follow their own process to provide admission in above mentioned course.

sir aircraft maintance engineering is diploma course or not

Aircraft maintenance engineering is not a degree or a diploma course, but a training programme. On completion of the training, a licence is issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

Those who have passed the Plus Two examinations with 50 per cent marks in aggregate in physics, chemistry and mathematics or a three-year diploma course in any branch of engineering or B.Sc. degree holders after Plus Two with maths, physics and chemistry are eligible for admission to AME training courses.
