The eligibility for liberal arts course for three years is that you should have passes 10+2 or equivalent qualification from a recognised board with 50% passing marks.Some of the reputed institutes take their own entrance exam for getting admission in their colleges.

Take Biotechnology if genetics and cell biology interest you more. You can pursue BSc or Btech in biotechnology.
