Hi iam Akash, iam interested in drawing skills ,poor in maths completed 12th with 94% in TS .Which course is better to take up to my skills

Gayatri Suman 6th Jun, 2019
Hello Akash,

As you have said that your maths is not good and also you are good in drawing. Then according to my opinion you should firstly complete your graduation in by doing B.A.and make your career in arts field. There is no need for the maths, you have to study only the subjects of arts field in which you are interested.

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 5th Jun, 2019
Hello,

Securing 40% is very low score and unfortunately there wont be amy college that will offer you admission with this low score regardless of your category. I suggest should give an improvement exam and increase you percentage to able to get a college.

I hope this helps.

I scored 96% marks of top-4 subject from humanities applying in E.W.S how can i get benefit from it?

Navanshi 5th Jun, 2019
Hello Yashu

First of all congrats for such a good score, since you have not mentioned any specific city or place you want to get admission in , i am giving a generalised view of B.a admissions in the country,EWS quota has been brought into effect this year(2019) so we do not have any past info. or previous cut-offs to look at and have an idea about the same. So, you should wait for the cut-offs to be out and then see if you make the cut, also you have good score you will easily be getting good colleges with/without ews quota also chances of getting topmost colleges will increase through ews quota, as most of the topmost B.A colleges are located in delhi , you will be getting a lot of good DU colleges , below i am mentioning some in which you have high chances of geting in:

  • Hindu colleges , cut off 96% for sociology
  • Hansraj , B.A honours history
  • ramjas colllege, B.A cut off = 94% and B.A(H)english = 96%
  • Shri venkateshwar sociology and history
  • Kirorimal
  • and many other good to decent DU colleges
Hope this helps.
All the best for admissions.

I got 88.4%marks in class 12th Arts from CBSE,Can I get easily admission in Ferguson college,Pune for BA History Hons.

Divyyanaa Hazarika 4th Jun, 2019

Hello Aspirant,

It seems like you are curious about your admissions. Fergusson College is a very esteemed colleges and every year many students rush there to get their seats.

The procedure of admission in Fergusson's is different from that of mainstream DU, etc. A student is not given his / her major subject at the time of the admission. It is assihass or given to select after completing first year i.e. you will get your honours in 2nd year of your undergraduate degree. If you belong to the general category, it's safer to opt if you have 90% or above. Otherwise, if you belong to ST,SC, OBC, etc. you can land up a seat even with 75%. I hope this information helps you. Good luck!

Hey..i got 70.75% in 12th (humanities) from an isc board .. whats my eligibility for colleges?

Ishita Roy 6th Jun, 2019

Hello Amandeep,

If you wish to apply for arts, chances are less for you to get into Delhi University unless you have quotaa. I would suggest you to apply to:

Amity University, Noida

Jyoti Dalal School of Liberal Arts

Symbiosis International School

Benett University and other private colleges for the same.
