Can someone provide me tfw fee stracture of Asansol engineering cillege. Its urgent.

S. Saha Student Expert 29th Jun, 2019
  • For bachelor's of Technology-

In Asansol Engineering College, the tuition fee waiver (TFW) course fee is very less compared to general students.
Where general students have to pay around 50000/- per semester, tfw candidates have to pay only Rs. 4000/- per semester.
And hence, the total course fee is around 4000*8= 32000/-. For eight semesters.
Hope it helps..
Good luck...

Should i take admission in asansol engineering college with 89.48 percentile in jee main. What is the process for admission and counselling

Sampriti Gupta Student Expert 22nd Jun, 2019

Absolutely you can take admission there. It's a good college if you want to pursue Computer Science Engineering or IT. You just have to register yourself for the counseling process and with your rank they'll allot you the colleges. Once they do you can directly approach the college for admission.

What is the opening and closing rank to tale addmission on the basis of jee main for ECE or CSE ?

gudduchaini Student Expert 4th Jun, 2019
Hi tanya ,
As there both are course are the most sought course now a days so these course have high cutoff to pursue them but it will vary with the desired nit you want to take if you expect to get into topmost nits then you will definitely have to score a rank less than 2000 and for cse in topmost nit even your rank should be less than 1000 but due to female quota I think a rank of 3000 might get you to top nits with your desired branch .

And if you can compromise with nits then even 10000 rank can get you to your branch
Hope it helps!!!!

How is the asansol engineering college for btech

Soumodeep Rana 28th May, 2019

Hello Avinav Kumar

Frankly speaking!! It depends.

It is one of the so called better colleges in the area and yeah chances are high you will land yourself a job in the IT companies at the end of the course, unless it's a bad year or you are out of your luck during that time. From a learning perspective, don't expect to be spoon-fed. There are few teachers who knows stuff well but again you have to approach them.

Overall it's an OK kind of college with somewhat averages placement opportunity.

Hope that helps!

asansol engineering college placements

Shreya_1549549812 Student Expert 13th May, 2019

Hello ritesh,

The placement for engineering course in Asansol engineering college are not good at all.

Even the mass recruiters selects only 10-15 students last year only from the core branches.

So, if you are planning to go there then I will advice you to not to go there and go for some other college.

Hope it helps.

Thank you  :)
