Dear candidate,

No wonder SBI PO happens to be the toughest stage of the recruitment process of SBI and if you are currently not enrolled in any mode of coaching then you can go for SBI PO Cracker Course, Vidya Guru or Handa ka Funda.

If you want to enroll in only the mock exams then you can go for:

  1. Practicemock
  2. Oliveboard
  3. CareerPower
  4. Mahindra
  5. Test book
  6. BSC

However, most of these provide a free test so you can verify which one suits you best but Practicemock is worth a shot!

mjaisinghani62 16th Oct, 2020

Hello aspirant

As medical education is going to be expensive these days. Most of medical colleges in Karnataka ask for bank guarantee from the students whether they will be able to pay fees for future years . This is practised not only for NRI and management quota but also for private colleges also. After paying annual fees the colleges ask for guarantee of 3.5 years . The medical courses are mostly of 5.5 years.

Please understand last yr i went Indore preparation sbi but i cried there seriously due to fear of not having understanding&felt its impossible thats main reason now i development an phobia of Bank exams and English too.My uncle Parents even my bst friend have faith in me. but i feel all over at 21

Akash kumar 6th Sep, 2020

hey there!

21 is not the age to lose hope, you have your entire life ahead of you and many opportunities which you might not even be aware of. If language particularly English is your problem and that's what making you feel out of the place, then surely, you can learn it. All you have to do is make some extra efforts and try to listen the language as much as you can, it's the first step of learning any language. Chin up and start doing what you have to do, losing hope won't help anyone, there's no challenge that can't be countered. All the best!!

which entrance book is better for bank po sir

pdwords Student Expert 4th Sep, 2020
Hello,

There are usually three stages involved in banking exam Probationary Officers Recruitment Process:

Preliminary, Mains there is also descriptive test, and followed by Interview(which does not happen in case of Clerk)

Now, the level of PO is comparatively high to that of Clerk, over the years this change has taken place, so one has to really have good grasp of Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning ,English, General Awareness(this doesn't come in preliminary stage).

Speed and Accuracy matters a lot, as I said the level of Quant and reasoning is pretty high, so apart from conceptual understanding what matters is practice, practice is the key to success here, if you search in the Internet there are many banking sites which have free mock papers, so one should make use of that, for instance if one completes a particular topic, then apart from solving questions from the book, it's equally important to make use of this mock paper, this will make one analyze one's strength and weaknesses. The free mock papers are available for all the sections such as Quant, reasoning, and English.

Some of the recommended books for Quant Section are ione ca  use NCERTs if one doesn't possess the conceptual understanding, as it's  written in simple and lucid language, other good books are RK Agarwal's Quantitative Aptitude for Competitive Exams, M Tyra's Quicker Maths, Arihant Publications Objective Mathematics,  for a bit higher level of practice one can use Arun Sharma's Quantitative Aptitude for CAT, for reasoning there are MK Pandey Analytical Reasoning, RK Agarwal Verbal and Non -Verbal Reasoning, in English section one can use Wren and Martin for Grammar, for Vocabulary one can Word Power Made Easy, for practice purposes Objective General English by SP Bakshi is really good.

Newspaper reading too is equally important on a daily basis, as banking exams is all about business, so it's better to read two newspapers on a daily basis just covering the important parts, and most importantly the Editorials, the best options are The Hindu(in the past RCs in English section have come directly from here only) and The Economic Times, there are various sites which offer monthly compilations to students, there are magazines such as Pratiyogita Darpan which are equally good, but reading newspapers covers so many portions of preparation such as vocabulary, knowledge, language skills, it also helps in increasing reading speed.
