Can I get into bit durg with rank 3000 St category rank 249

According to my knowledge Bhilai Institute of Technology (BIT) Durg do accept CGPET but it doesn't allow admission separately for female which means it doesn't have a separate cutoff trends for female aspirants. The Bhilai Institute of Technology (BIT) is the first self-financed engineering college in Central India. All courses offered by the Institute are approved by the AICTE.

It's all depend on when will counselling held ,if counselling will held after jossa then upto 1200 CRL Rank u will get admission in BIT Sindri and if the counselling will held before jossa then u will get admission in BIT SINDRI upto 950 CRL rank if u belong to BC-1 cateogory.

In the last placement session of the year about 80 to 90 percent students were placed from cse/it. And the average package was about 3 to 3.5 lakhs per annum. From mechanical branch few students were placed at TCS. Many students here prepare for GATE so they are trying for PSUs.

As per your cgpet rank surely you will get Bhilai institute technology. But sorry but you won't get cse in BIT.

You can visit the official site of the BIT,Durg i.e. http://www.bitdurg.ac.in/

you can apply for counselling and give the option of the college. If you satisfy the college course rank then you will get assigned to that college. College is list is prioritized. The option 1 will be given more priority then to 2nd option.

The only way is counselling. Go through it to apply for admission.

As per the previous years cutoff trends of CGPET for BIT Durg I can say that with your mentioned open category rank you will not get seat in BIT Durg in CSE but you can other branches there like 

• Civil engineering
• Electronics & Telecommunications
• Electrical

However you can get  a CSE seat if you reserved category quota.
