Sneha, 1st Intermedicate marks are not considered for NEET. To be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th. Let's say your brother scored 20 out of 60 in Physics, Chemistry, Biology in theory, he should have also scored some marks in Practicals right? If he belongs to General Category and if he has scored atleast 30 in each of the Practicals, then he can be considered eligible for NEET. He will only need 20 out of 40 in each of the subjects, if he belongs to OBC Category.
Sneh, you haven't mentioned your Category. Now if your brother has scored 20/60 in theory he should also have been marked for Practicals right? Because to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th. So out of the remaining 40 for Practicals, even if he has scored more than 30 in each subject and the score totals to atleast 150 out of 300 including theory and practicals, your brother can be considered eligible for NEET. So can you please help us with Individual marks in both theory and practicals and your Category please?
There are two sections in NDA entrance exam
1. Mathematics
2. General Ability
Under general ability there are sub-sections which are as follows
Under General Science you have topics like
So under Section-C in General Ability you will have Biology but it is not Intermediate level. These are basic topics which you should learn. To prepare for General Studies you can refer NCERT Science Textbook from class 6-class 10. That is enough because GS carries 10% of weightage.
