There are many students across India, who have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology subjects in there 10+2 or Physics Chemistry, some other combination and Biology as an additional subject and still they ,managed to get a seat in Government Medical colleges. So its nothing like that, the syllabi is the same for the additional subject and the compulsory. You don't loose something out of it. So if you prepare well for the NEET and manage to score in NEET, then you will definitely be able to get seat in Government medical college for MBBS.,

Dear Pikumoni,
According to the National Testing Agency (NTA) the body that conducts NEET, you can only appear for the exam if you have passed 12th board examination with 50% aggregate score (40% if you are an OBC/SC or ST candidate).
Even if you get 50% aggregate score despite failing in one subjects, you would not be eligible for NEET because you will need a passing certificate at the time of examination.
Therefore, you are ineligible to appear for NEET unless you pass your Chemistry examination.
What can you do now : apply for improvement exam so that you can pass Chemistry. Try to get above 50% aggregate score. Since you have failed in only one examination, according to the New Education Policy (NEP), CBSE has now allowed improvement examination for one subject to be held immediately after the main examination instead of waiting for the successive examination in next year.
I hope this information helps you! Best of luck! Do not lose hope!
