campus placement
Hi, the college is great for disabled students but for non-disabled it's neither good nor bad. About 20% of the students from our course were placed. The salary package offered here varies from 5 LPA to 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters for our course are TCS, Wipro, uCertify, etc. Top roles offered in our course are software engineer and management type role. The highest salary package offered in our course is 5 LPA, while the average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. More than 30 students got internships in DRDO, ISRO, NER, NCR, BHEL, BEL and many more like IIM, IIT, etc. The infrastructure and campus is good, the wifi and various other facilities are provided. The active students have successfully won prizes in IITs and Nits. So exposure is also nice but you have to create more opportunities and use your calibre to the best.
All the best
In Campus placement , the companies will visit your college and based on the performance of the students in your college or departments they will be selected. Now here the students those are compared and selected to be the best are the students of your own college but in walk-in interview or off-campus interview you will be compared and tested among students who are from another college. Also there can be job seekers who have a 1/2 year experience who will appear in the interview with you. Thus in off campus placement its tough to establish yourself to be the best where as in college placement the competition can be high but the rigidity of knowledge is approximately bounded by the syllabus. So you have the same probability as the others have.
I have presented my perspective. I hope my answer helps you. All the best for your future endeavors!

Dear Aspirant, apart from college placements, it depends on your stream and area of interest. Choose your area of interest and develop the skillset required. Suppose you want to go in the developing field, for that brush up your coding skills. Meanwhile there are opportunities like marketing and content writing if you have interest in same. Also to get into IIMs, cat score is the key, based on the score and your previous history of marks you will be called for the interview. Having co- curricular certificates will be cherry on the cake. For gap years, you can choose an easy work from home sort of paid internship or do certified courses available on online platform like Coursera, udemy. All the best.
Greetings, Adarsh.
Most IIM's usually gives only 5-15 % of weightage to work experience (major weightage is for CAT score and PI) with points for approx. 24-36 months of work after which they don't count it ( which means work experience of more than 2-3 years will not give you any extra edge during selection)
Since you are an Engineering graduate, it is usually advisable to go for a technical job related to your field not just because it is easier to get but but because it is easier to justify in your CV. CAT values versatility but there is a fine line between versatility and randomness. What I mean to say is that if you go for a job which isn't even remotely related to your field of study then you'd probably be asked for reasons as to why you chose to do that. So if you were to go for a sales job after completing a degree in say, Electrical Engineering, you'd have to to explain your shift in career paths. To avoid such justifications and to to make the most of your CV, go for a technical job or maybe an Analysist position, anything which you can either link to your Engineering degree or to a Management degree.
Best of luck, Good day!
Chances of placements at Government Polytechnic Jaunpur is very low as there is no data related to placements is available. You should go with other college option for computer science engineering.
Hey dear, nowdays mostly in all college companies do come for their recruitmesnt process for graduates. The procedure for every company is different, some companies have 3 rounds, some have 6. But the basic procedure is first they take a test in which they ask aptitude and analytical reasoning, than comes group discussion and the last comes personal interview and than a list of shortlisted candidates comes.
Hello there,
CGPA ( Cumulative Grade Point Average ) is the average marks obtained by a student in a particular time period of a course. CGPA is the sum total of your grade points in a given semester or academic year of a curriculum.
CGPA is calculated also for a single year and it is also calculated for cumulative 4 years. Formulas and system for both the cases are different.
And yes, CGPA matters during the campus placement. CGPA often works as the first parameter when applying or being considered for a job. Generally in the screening round, criteria that is being set is overall CGPA (most of the time the Training and Placement Cell itself sets this). This is to ensure that the student who has worked hard throughout the college should get more chance of getting hired than those who wasted their time in useless activities.
Hope this helps.
