CBSE
No, you cannot give a compartment exam in chemistry and an improvement exam in mathematics in the same year (2024) according to CBSE rules.
If you have a compartment in chemistry, you must clear that first, and then you can appear for improvement exams in other subjects in the next year.
CBSE does not allow students to appear for both compartment and improvement exams in the same year.
Thank you!!
Yes, it's possible to have your marks increased in a CBSE 12th re-evaluation even if the difference is between 6 and 7 marks.
While smaller increases (1-5 marks) are more common, moderate increases (6-10 marks) are also seen in a decent percentage of successful revaluations.
The key is to understand that re-evaluation involves a recalculation of marks, and if there are errors in totaling, or if a question wasn't evaluated, or if there's a discrepancy in communication of marks, these can be rectified.

You can use College predictor for finding the best college for you.

Hi Student,
Thank you for reaching out! Pursuing the science stream in a junior college depends on the college’s admission criteria. You can pursue the Science stream with 76% in CBSE Class 10, even with low Science marks, by targeting mid-tier or private junior colleges Eligibility for science stream :
Most CBSE-affiliated or state-board junior colleges require a minimum aggregate of 60-75% in Class 10 for science stream admission, with specific cutoffs for core subjects like mathematics and science. Your 76% aggregate is strong, but low science marks may pose a challenge.
With 76%, aim for colleges with cutoffs of 70-75%, like local government or private institutes.
All the best.
Thank you.
