Your brother's 12 marks doesn't decide that if he is eligible for nit or not..it depends on the performance in jee mains exam..if he prepares in this 1 year well..and if his performance is good then...he will surely get nit..

Your rank is 34331 which is a satisfactory rank..you may get admission in lower type Colleges which is not good for you.now you have two choices for you either you can take admission in any private College or you can drop out for one year...

Your board percentage seems enough to be an in top 20 percentile.To be an elligible for NITs,you board percentage must be under top 20 percentile.And your mains rank is quite good for NITs.Participate in JOSAA to fix your seat in NITs.
