a percentage of 87.5% marks in class 12 i.e. Higher secondary exams is a good enough percentage to get you in a better position in the rank list that is to be given out the university. 67.5 percentile makes you eligible for at least the second cut off list

The main two criterias for getting nit are:
1.you should be in top 20 percentile of your respective board
OR
2. You should get a minimum aggregate of 75 % if you are from general or obc category and 65% if you are from ST or sc category
