The admission process for coep pune is generally done by the Maharastra counselling body dte through CAP rounds, If you have given mhtcet then you would be eligible for entering in the counselling process ,as of now no tentative dates are given for the counselling rounds to start .From my

Can i get metullergy engineering in coep with a score of 136 in mhtcet 2019 for general category?

Hello Suprit, No, you cant get metallurgy engineering on these marks. 2018 closing rank marks for the last admitted general category student was 151 for male candidates and 145 for female general category candidate. You can get a Btech planning course in COEP at these marks.

There are very few chances for you to get into the core branches. Still, you should fill it as your top priority in the choice filling.

Following will be the expected cutoff:

Civil Engineering - 160 to 150

Computer Engineering - 180

Hi there the marks are unlikely less even if you belong to NT3 category. The last year cutoff for NT3 category was for cs(166) ,for electrical engineering (161), for information technology (169), and for civil (153).

With your mentioned rank it is highly unlikely for you to get into NITs or IIITs or gfti. You could still apply for the josaa counselling process and try your luck. But I would suggest you to try for state level engineering colleges which accept JEE main scores.

You can study engineering in any of the colleges of India if you fulfill the eligibility and admission criterias of that respective college . This means you can definitely study engineering in any of the college of Pune if you get admission there.
