I got around 93 Percentile in JEE Mains, Looking for some good colleges in Pune, Mumbai, Nagpur. Can I get any GFTIs ?

Hello akshansh

With your mentioned rank it is highly unlikely for you to get into NITs or IIITs or gfti. You could still apply for the josaa counselling process and try your luck. But I would suggest you to try for state level engineering colleges which accept JEE main scores.

You can study engineering in any of the colleges of India if you fulfill the eligibility and admission criterias of that respective college . This means you can definitely study engineering in any of the college of Pune if you get admission there.

Hi Adinath,

COEP, Pune is one of the top colleges in Maharashtra and there is only one way you can get admission in this college, i.e., by cracking the MHT-CET exam which is an exam of total 200 marks. The date for this exam has passed.

To get admission in COEP, you will have to crack MHTCET and to apply for the same candidates should have secured a minimum of 50 % marks (for General Category) and at least 45 % marks (for reserved category and Persons with Disability candidates) belonging to Maharashtra State only)

Hello,

the eligibilty criteria is 50% minimum aggregate in 10+2 with PCM as major subjects.

the merit list is based on the MH-CET Merit list which will be realised in First week of june.

In general if your entrance mark is above 100 then you can sure get an admission

Aditya, if you are going to wait till the last round of admission for COEP, then you need at least 150+ to get admission there.


This mark's range is for branches like production engineering , metallurgical engineering etc.

Yes you can be admitted in any private college of pune .But as your score is less so you have to go through management quota by paying some donation amount. Don't worry if you have some family problem or your financial condition is not good then you can go for
