Hello Prajval, You can easily get admission in Mechanical engineering course till 3rd or 4th round. Because the closing rank cutoff for 2018 COEP round 3 for the mechanical branch was 169 and round 4 cutoff was 166. below is the 2018 cutoff for all the branches:

As per your score in jee mains 2019 it is difficult to get COEP, generally the minimum score requored to get COEP is above 98 percentile. Also as per your CET score it is difficult to get seat in cap at COEP as you belong to general category.

As far as i am concern. There is at least one student in the college from each district of Maharashtra. There is no such region diversification in COEP. One should focus more on study keep your own targets for pointer it can be 9+ or simply passing.

With your mentioned score it is difficult for you to get vjti or coep for any branch even considering your caste. So you should look for some other good colleges in Mumbai or Pune like KJ Somaiya or dj Sanghavi or vit Pune or pict Pune.

With 166/200 in MHTCET 2019, you will not get CSE at COEP as cutoffs would not come down than 170 even in last round. Please note that cutoffs change every year.
