The both colleges which you have mentioned that is COEP and VJTI are top colleges in the state of Maharashtra and due to which the level of this colleges are quite and hence they required a very high marks in there particular entrance exams so that you become eligible
Dear Aspirant, generally competition for COEP is high , the cutoffs are high.
In CET getting a score near 175-180 +(99.6-99.7 percentile) would help securing seat in COEP.(this may or may not be accurate due to changing trends every year).
Also JEE score needs to be high as JEE score
