Common Law Admission Test for LLM
Hii,
From the last year trends More than 47,000 students appeared for the Common law Admission Test . It was said that Every year 3000 students applications are increased. This year the Appeared candidate are almost around 50000-52000. It was not the toughest exam . Anyone can perform better.
Hello,
The JAC Board (Jharkhand State) has provided the top 20 percentile marks for the year of 2019. As you may already know a student must have secured either 75% marks or be in top 20 percentile of their respective board. As you are clearly not above 75%, your only hope was top 20 percentile. This year the cutoff is around 320 marks for general student and 306 for SC or ST students, which is more or less on the lines of last year. I am sorry to say but despite your performances in the entrance exam, you cannot take admission in any IIT or NIT with this percentage. I would suggest you give improvement exam and try next year.
Thanks
Dear aspirant,

Hello Rajesh, normally in these circumstances if you are going for full time 2 year LLM program with on-campus requirements, you would require a sabbatical leave from your department or employer. As per high court ruling, officials can be granted permission to pursue full-time LLB/LLM courses by their superior. So once you get the application granted, you can easily pursue LLM or PhD (Legal) in your desired college. However, if your course is a long distance program, you can very well continue working in your respective office while parallely studying your course as an open student.

Hello Priyanka!
The marks mentioned by you in CLAT2019 post graduation are evidently low. With such marks it will be dufficult to get admissiona into any of theNLUs or government law providing colleges. But certainly there are many private colleges that may provide admission at this score. Naming a few:
These are the reputed ones you should definitely consider. There are other private options apart from the above mentioned ones . Private institutions have so far maintained a goodwill, and have been successful in providing ample number of opportunities to the students.
Hope this helps, All the best!
Hello Poorvi!
CLAT cut off is for LLM is calculated by considering various factors such as total number of test takers , total number of seats and difficulty level of the exam. After analysing your score, rank and the above mentioned factors, it would be difficult to get admission in the top most NLUs. There are some chances of getting a seat in the following NLUs.
Keep a check on the cutoffs of the above mentioned. Also take into condideration other government and private colleges for LLM incase you could not make it to NLUs.
Hope this helps. All the best!
