Physical sciences is pure physics and it can't be chemical sciences,life sciences or mathematical sciences. For UGC NET exam, a candidate must secure at least 55% marks in master degree or equivalent examination from UGC recognized universities/colleges in Humanities including languages and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. The 55 % marks should be without rounding off.
