You are studying in bvoc means bachalor of vocational studies. So you are completed your 2nd year in food technology. Now you want to take in between microbiology and biochemistry any one subject.
Microbiology is the main part of biology, you have to study about the bacteria, virus, fungus in this subject. And the biochemistry is mainly about the cell biology, ecology etc.
But you are in food technology so I'll prefer you to choose the microbiology. Because every food department has a special zone for microbiology. Because they are check the purity about foods. So microbiology is connected to your previous subject.
All the best.

Dear Student,
After completing B.tech. in Food Technology, to become a food inspector, there are two options in front of you.
Option 1: After the completion of a bachelor’s degree, you can start working with an entry-level role. It will provide you with the experience and industry insights. After a few years, you can further resume study and opt for a master’s degree. A master’s degree is considered more valuable, if you apply for senior roles.
Option 2: After completion of your bachelor level programme, you can further continue your studies without any gap in the academic year. And after its completion, you can start working in the industry.
You can choose one as per your convenience!!

Hi Vishnu,
Since you're doing a B. Tech in Dairy Technology, assuming you've interests in the course, it will be advisable to do an M. Tech in the same domain.
This is because any branch you choose, if you come under the top 5 percentiles and if you have a real passion for the subject, sooner or later you'll have great package at hand, however the reverse is not true always.
Now, if you're someone who is not very much into Dairy Tech and is okay to switch branches, then Food Tech will be a better option as number of jobs available is lot more and also the placements are better.
Work on your priorities and choose wisely.
Hope this was helpful.
