Hello Kunti
With a merit rank of 15073 and 45.2381 marks and 68.4% in 12th, your chances of getting a government colleges are very low. Previous year trends have shown that seats for B.Sc Nursing in government colleges have close by 2000 - 5000 rank.
But you can still go for private colleges.

Thank You!!!
Hello!
So according to your percentage you are eligible for several B.sc nursing colleges even though you are from general category.
You have good chances of getting admission into Government College of Ahemdabad, Vadodara, Jamnagar and surat. All these colleges are very good and are affordable options. Attend the counselling and prepare your documents.
With a CUET-UG Biology score of 158 in the general category, you are eligible for B.Sc. (Hons.) Forensic Science at Vikram University, which requires only 40% in Class 12 (Science stream); although the exact cutoff for this course at Vikram isn’t published, similar universities have had cutoffs around 158 for general category, meaning your score is right on the borderline, so you stand a fair chance of admission if you apply on time and actively follow the counselling process.
Hello,
Sorry, but with a score of 158 in CUET biology for a general category student, you have a very low chance of getting admission for forensic science honors at Vikram University. Especially in popular and very competitive programs like forensic science honors. However, you can still check cutoffs for this program at a specific university.
I hope it will clear your query!!
Hello Aspirant,
With a General Rank of 697 in DDU University Gorakhpur, your chances in round two will depend on seat availability after round one, as well as how many higher-ranked candidates forfeit their seats or upgrade. If cut-offs lower in round two (which typically happens), you might get a seat, especially in programs that are not in high demand, but getting admission to top programs or courses may still be difficult. For Kashmiri Migrant quota in Karnataka government medical colleges, the cutoff has been on the higher side, like 415 in 2023 and 431 in 2024. The 330 to 380 range people mention is usually for private or management quota, not government seats. Hello Sunita,
Previously, the Sadgope community in West Bengal was part of General, so you could apply under EWS if eligible. But, as per the most recent state list, Sadgope has been categorized under OBC-B in West Bengal. Under the WBHRB Staff Nurse Grade II recruitment, you need to apply based on the caste category that is current in the state list. This means you can no longer claim EWS if your caste is now OBC. Rather you should apply under OBC-B, and if eligible submit an OBC certificate.
Hi!
For the last three years, the NEET UG cut-off for General Kashmiri Migrants has been 415 marks in 2023, 431 in 2024, and this year it is expected around 400 marks. This cut-off is for government medical colleges under the reserved category for migrants and may vary depending on seat allotment and number of applicants. If your score is between 330–380, the chances for government MBBS seats are slim, but you might still secure a BDS or private MBBS seat depending on counselling rounds. Keep checking the official MCC website and J&K counselling notices because they post category-wise cut-off lists. If you are preparing for next year, target at least 420+ for safer chances in MBBS under this quota. Remember, each year competition changes, so never rely solely on past data—use it as a guideline.

Yes, under the Kashmiri Migrant (KM) quota in Karnataka, candidates with NEET UG scores between 330 and 380 have secured MBBS seats in previous years. In 2025, a score of 430 was considered above the usual cutoff range for this category, offering a good chance for admission, especially in later rounds or for semi-government/private colleges. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) reserves one seat per government medical college for the KM category. While the general category cutoff often exceeds 600, the KM quota typically has significantly lower cutoffs. For instance, in 2022, the closing marks for the KM quota at Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar were around 370, with similar trends in 2023 and 2024. Final allotment depends on seat availability and proper documentation during counseling. It's advisable to monitor the official KEA website for updates on counseling schedules and seat allotments.
