You can apply for the Graphics Designer Post by creating a good portfolio...
Good day, I am simply going to keep it quick and painless
Like the others state, yes you have to make a magnificent portfolio, cause that is your language to impart your a planner to the world.
The kind of portfolio will figure out where you are in the business, and see where you fit in. Also, you can begin by going to independent structure sites, for example, Marketplace for Designer and Creative Person commercial center. You can begin remotely, and manufacture your portfolio through requests and involvement in time.
Trust me, an originator's resume is his/her portfolio.
Hope these will be helpfull..

Hello Adarsh,
The best way to get into a design career after engineering is to take up training in design available at the master's level, offered by several IITs and design institutes. The best institutes where you can take up masters in graphic design or communication design are:
The most important requirement to make a career in design is an ability to think originally and work in an innovative way. You need to appear for an entrance test for admission into the Master’s programme. The examination tests for visual perception ability, drawing skills, design aptitude and communication skills. The IITs hold the Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) for admission into their M.Des programme while institutes like NID, NIFT etc have their own tests.
Eligibility: Most design institutes take graduates from all disciplines provided they clear the entrance test. But IITs require graduates in design, architecture, engineering or students with an MSc degree or having a background in arts, computer applications.
How you can start: Engineers are well suited to becoming designers if they have the basic creative talent and aptitude. If you're good at art already, pick up software tools and try working digitally.
To start with, you can learn using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and have knowledge about the basics related to the field of graphic designing like the difference between raster and vector, resolution, dpi, RGB, CMYK etc. You can also look out for events and opportunities where you can try to put forward your ideas for posters and images for publicity.

Graphic designers convey inspiring and informative ideas in advertisements, brochures and other marketing communications materials. Some graphic designers work for specialized design firms as part of a collaborative team, while others are self-employed and work independently. Print and digital designers use complex graphics tools to manipulate text, images, animations and color.Graphic design is a constantly changing and developing field. Designers must keep up with the commercial and artistic trends in the industry – or they may find themselves quickly left behind. They must also remain current on new and updated computer graphics and design software programs, which are in a near constant state of evolution. This is particularly true for designers working as freelancers, and for those interested in advancing to higher positions within their companies. Organizations such as the American Institute of Graphic Arts or the Graphic Artists Guild provide members with educational updates on new technology, software or methodology. Completing certification programs in vendor-specific design software can also help build credentials.
Hi Adarsh,
I browsed about it some time ago when I myself wondered about it. The salary range for a video game developer starts low but has the potential to grow quickly. Starting salaries often fall somewhere around $35,000, but after successfully working on three or four projects it can reach as high as $60,000. After five or six projects, the salary can reach $85,000, and after enough projects are completed developers often become executive producers, which comes with a six-figure salary, or take their chances on opening their own studio.
Depends on what you have to offer. If you are offering to operate Photoshop and convert someone else's vision into neat graphics, you are competing with DTP folks and you get paid a similar amount (around 25k INR a month)
It totally depends on the college you are graduating from. Private colleges can even offer a package varing from 2.5 to 4 lakhs pa whereas government institutions like NID, packages can jump from 7 lakhs to 13 lakhs.
Hope it helps! Comment Down if you have any other queries... Goodluck!
