With the rank you have secured you have got quite minimal chances of admission in NLus and IPU.NLUs cutoff for general category students are quite high as compared to reserved category students.For IPU  you still have some chances for admission,though you may have to wait for the 3rd or 4th round of allotments.it would have been better if you had mentioned your state and category.

The ba hons in english at ipu was just introduced in 2018 . There are just 52 seats for this course .  Last year , candidates with rank upto 2500 were admitted, but it depended on their category and region ie delhi / outside delhi and whether or not they could avail reservation.  So you have a good chance of getting admission provided you belong to delhi region and can avail reservation.

You would definitely get it if you hail from Trichy,Thanjavur region as Sastra has a seperate quota for such students.

If you are from TN but not the above mentioned places,then you might get it on the basis of previous year trends.

However,you might find it difficult to obtain such courses if you are a general outside TN student.
