Yes gap will matter alot. However you shpuld justify the gap amd produce aome internship certificate and technical courses you have pursued incase you rrally have done so. 

Stating reasons like health or study leave is inappropriate and can hamper your job opportunities .

But to be honest Amity is pretty expensive on the pockets, if you are willing to go ahead for it then you can, placements are good and are definitely assured as the students are well groomed and taken care of
