You'll be eligible for BHMS if you belong to the 50th Percentile (unreserved category) and 40th percentile (reserved category SC/ST) in NEET ranking, while the cut-off for BHMS is 400+ for General Candidate, 360+ for OBC and atleast 320+ for SC/ST candidates. Private colleges may accept a score lower than this, but for government colleges you need to score this much atleast. The scores might vary depending upon the college and the domicile state.

For BNYS admissions, most colleges give admission based on merit. In this situation, the applicant is expected to have completed his 12th studies with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with an aggregate of 50%.

In other colleges where merit is not the basis, the admission is based on entrance tests. The cutoff for these entrance tests varies according to the performance of the candidates that appeared for the test in that particular year.

In order to get into BHMS course you need to score a minimum marks of around 400 out of 720 in order to get into a good BHMS college in West Bengal availing the state quota all the it has been seen the cutoff for BHMS me go to as low as less than hundred out of 720 but that does not necessarily guarantee admission to a decent college in that regard and you need to keep your hopes high and try to score definitely in excess of 350 in order to make it through to our college of your choice

There are over 150 colleges in India offering the course B.H.M.S. i.e. - Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery which is a 5.5 years long course which includes one year of internship at the undergraduate level.

At post-graduate leve, the course offered is MD in Homeopathy.

I shall focus this answer around B.H.M.S.

Let us first discuss the eligibility criteria :

• Age of 17 or above 

• Cleared 10+2 with the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

The entrance exam for B.H.M.S. is NEET-UG exam.

Since 2016, all the entrance examinations for courses such as M.B.B.S , B.D.S, B.H.M.S, BAMS and Veterinary have been merged into a single exam - NEET which is held in the month of May every year.

You need to qualify NEET to get into these courses.
