Hey Lakshmi,

Generally students start preparation from 4th semester, in first year  the time is passed to understand the environment the college but i will suggest you to start your preparation from 3rd sem.

No it is not going to be enough to be honest. The syllabus for IES is more compared to Gate and not to forget there is a subjective round of exam in IES too.

Which is better branch EE or EEE . If priority is given to GATE , IES ,PSUs and a little private jobs. Plss answer??

hii,

if you are only interested in Electrical engineering, choose EE but if you are also interested in electronics then choose EEE. in goverment sector, electrical is better then electronics but for private sector, electronics is better than electrical.

with the college code M068, BGS Global Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore has a fee structure of  77000 for government, 632500 for private, 3600000 for NRI and 3600000 for other.

in ies only four branch is considered civil,mechanical,electrical, ECE.

While in gate 22 (approx.)branch is considered. Means most of students can be give gate exam.
