With a JEE Main rank of 167456, securing a seat in a top-tier engineering college like an IIT or a top NIT is unlikely. However, it's possible to get admitted to other NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs, potentially in less popular branches or locations. There are also numerous private engineering colleges that accept students with ranks in this range.

Hii,
First off, congratulations on getting selected for both programs in government institutes that’s a good achievement. Now, deciding between BSc Nursing and Integrated BSc-BEd really depends to your career goals and interest in healthcare vs education.
BSc Nursing can leads to jobs in hospitals, clinics, defense forces, or abroad, high demand in India and foreign countries (especially Gulf, UK, Canada) and offers stable government jobs after qualifying nursing exams.
You can also pursue MSc Nursing or Hospital Administration later.
On the other hand Integrated BSc-BEd:Aimed at becoming a school teacher, especially in science or upper primary classes , you become eligible for teaching jobs in government schools after clearing TET/CTET or state teaching eligibility tests and can also be less physically demanding than nursing but requires strong communication and teaching skills.
Hope you will find it helpful!

Best of luck for your college hunting.
With a NEET PG rank of 60,000, getting a clinical branch under management quota is possible but mainly in low-demand specialties like Anesthesia, Psychiatry, or ENT in private/deemed colleges.
Highly preferred branches like Radiology or General Medicine are unlikely.
With a NEET 2025 score of 495 and SC category rank 1531, you have a strong chance of getting an MBBS seat in both AIQ and MP State Quota. You can get top government colleges in Madhya Pradesh like GMC Bhopal, Jabalpur, or Gwalior.

Dear aspirant,
The BAMS cut offs for the EWS category through NEET vary every year. It is determined by the minimum qualifying percentile and the corresponding scores, as well as the specific college and its cutoff ranks . The qualifying percentile for the EWS category is the 50th percentile, which translates to a score range of 720-137 in NEET 2024. For BAMS admissions, the specific cutoff ranks for colleges vary. For example, in 2024, the closing rank for the EWS category at the State Model Institute of Ayurveda Sciences in Gandhinagar was 62529 . But the rank you have mentioned is really higher than the closing rank. Even though it varies in different colleges but it's really unlikely to get a BAMS seat with the above mentioned rank. For more details about 2024 BAMS cut off, you can visit this link given below.

You got 388 marks in the NEET exam and you belong to the OBC category.
Yes, you have qualified for NEET because the minimum qualifying marks for OBC category is around 113 to 143. So, you are eligible to take part in NEET counselling.
But for getting a seat in a government medical college through All India Quota, the cutoff is usually much higher. For OBC category, students usually need at least 590 marks or more to get a government medical seat under All India Quota.
So with 388 marks, it is very difficult to get a seat in any government medical college through the All India Quota. Even in state quota, most government colleges need around 530 to 570 marks or more for OBC category.
You can still take part in counselling, but the chances are very low for government medical colleges. You may get a seat in a private or deemed university if you are open to that option.
Keep checking for counselling updates and take part when registration starts.

With an All India JEE Main rank of 82,227, you have a realistic chance of getting B.Tech in Data Science (or AI & DS) at YCCE Nagpur through CAP counselling. Their cutoff for this branch often goes up to around 2–2.5 lakh AIR for open category in later rounds.
However, GH Raisoni College of Engineering (Nagpur) tends to have a higher cutoff for Data Science, and your rank might be on the borderline or above the closing rank. Chances there are low unless seats remain vacant in very late rounds.
If you're aiming for Data Science specifically, YCCE is more likely at your rank. Make sure to fill your options smartly during CAP rounds.
Hey Safil:)
Thanks for reaching out!
With an All India rank of 1,56,617 and defense quota (priority 6) from Kerala ,your chances of getting a govt MBBS seat through All India Quota are low as most seats under the defense quota fo to higher priorities(1-5). However you can still apply through the KSB quota by registering for the MCC councelling This is necessary for any AIQ seat including defence quota seats.
For kerala state quota there's no separate reservation for priority 6 but you can apply through general or other eligible categories.
Based on your rank, your chances are better in private colleges or in later rounds like mop-up or stray vacancy. However, Don't skip councelling apply through both to explore all possible options.
