I would advice you to take up IIIT Ranchi over IIIT Dharwad from JOSAA counselling because IIIT Ranchi is better in all categories as compared to IIIT Dharwad specially when it comes to the placement cell. I realy hope this information was helpful! I wish you all the very best for your future!

Actually it totally depends on you.. the dept you are going to choose.If you are interested in CS/IT/ECE obviously ICFAI is going to be your automatic choice since it is located in the IT hub of Hyderabad with immense opportunities in placement drive. Otherwise you can go for the other option.

JNTUA College of Engineering, Anantapur is a better option. Both courses either CSE or ECE will land you in a good job, this completely depends on your preference regarding the course.

The placements in this college are good. The average package in this college is minimum 4-5 LPA. The placement cell consists of faculty representative for each department, one student representative for each class, staff coordinators led by the placement officer.

This college is an old one, but the infrastructure is good. There are separate laboratories for each department. There is a bank facility available outside the college. The central library consists of more than 60,000 books.

The faculty is highly qualified. Each department consists of a head and more than 30 teaching and non-teaching staff. The faculty are friendly and helps the students in many other aspects.

IIIT Dharwad maynot be one of the top or best IIITs there are but being an IIIT does certainly make it a relatively good MHRD institute in India for CSE, IT courses.

It is running from a temporary campus as is the situation with many other IIITs, so it will take time before you get a great infrastructure.

Placement wise it is doing okay but enough evidence isnt there since the first batch passes out in May, 2019; companies like TCS, WIPRO, Sankhya Labs etc have been few of the campus recruiters

It has a very good faculty and course structure, being a IIIT

So if you get a better IIIT then go for that, but if not, definitely Dharwad.

IIIT Dharwad is a new institute which only have 4 batches till date. It has a good scope for the upcoming batches as the institute is growing. Currently there is a lack in facilities in this college and there are many issues as it a temporary campus as i heard of. The campus construction may have been  this yestarted. Even this year the institute took initiative to improve. Regarding Placements and Internships, it is decent the college is improving. Students look for the internships on there own, the college also helps. The college is not that supportive. In all if you have a choice of any other IIIT like IIIT Pune, IIIT Naya Raipur or something like go for it.

I would like to inform you that Getting IIIT Dharwad with ranking of 26442 in Sc category in the examination JEE MAINS seems to be very difficult. As per Last years cutoff, ie in the year 2018 maximum ranking upto which admission took place in IIIT Dharwad was 8222.

The college is new and the 1st batch will pass out this year i.e in 2019.The college is running on PPP(Public Private partnership ) mode.It is ranked among 20 IIITs of the country.It has been given AAA+ rating by career 360.

You might not get ample opportunities of on campus placements,as the college is new.

There are sometimes problems in PPP mode college because the administration power in not in one hand.Its better if you choose some other old engineering colleges than joining IIITs for the shake of name.

Indian Institute Of Technology Dharwad Is Simply Awesome . The Professors Are from IIT Bombay and most of them are retired or verge Of retirement but, on top of that in my opinion experience does matter .Also The Students Here get same Education as Bombay IIT.Infrastucture Consists Of Three Floor Building . Classes For First Year Students will be Conducted On First Floor And For Seniors , on First and second Floor. IIT Dharwad also have hostel Facility.Also Have Mess , The Food quality Is Food and eatable.Campus also Have Medical Facility and doctor checks Students three Times in a week .Placements are really Great .And Most of The students will Great Grades Gets Best Placement.
