NISER is one and is under DAE while IISER's were 7 and are under MHRD.
The course structure is different. At NISER, you study physics, chemistry, biology and math for one year while you do that for two years in IISERs.
Fee is higher in IISER while it

After completing class 12th or pursuing graduation first year can apply for KVPY SB stream. As per the eligibility you must have scored minimum 60% in 12th class while it is 50% for reserved categories SC/ST/PwD. You can check the further eligibility with the given below link.

there is no fixed cut-off for IISER aptitude test but if you go with last year cut-off then i think that around 60 to 80 is best and good enough for getting admission in bsc physics at IISER.if you want to go for it then it is good
