There are three channels of admission. Candidates will be admitted to IISER only through these channels.

1- Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) channel

2- Joint Entrance Examination of Indian Institutes of Technology (JEE) channel

3-State and Central Boards Channel (SCB) channel

Hello Shashwat. If you are research oriented, then there is no better place than IISC. Yes, B.pharma from ICT is great, if you are looking for a job post your course completion. But, for doing research in drugs and medicines, I would suggest you to go for BS from IISC,

Although it cannot be said with confidence, but with a rank of 809 in SA stream, it's a bit difficult to get admission into the choice of your subject (seeing past trends).

iiser is a premier institute in india. the students after doing ms from iiser can apply for phd in various institution in india and abroad. there are many company like deloitte, mu sigma, barc hire candidate in scientist role from iiser. als you can pursue mba from top institutes

Aryan, For Admissions to BS-MS (Dual-Degree) Programme 2019 in IISER, the institue clearly mentions the eligibility as " Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent level exam with science stream in 2018 or 2019 are eligible to apply for admissions. "

You can give the SCB test of IISER Pune after 12th board exam.You cannot give this exam in 12th class.You should study hard and practice regularly for the exam as this Colleges has very less seats to be acquired and there is intense competition.So,All the best.

 The answer will be more appropriate if you describe regarding the course in your question for which you want to apply. Otherwise Yes, the IISERs are far better then IITs because their funding is higher than the IITs and will provide you opportunities to work

The IISER 2019 admission process is expected to start from the fourth week of May. An aptitude test will be conducted for the candidates opting for SCB channel while the candidates seeking admission through other two channels will be eligible to take direct admission.
