Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)
Hello aspirant,
First of all I want to clear that if you are planning to clear jee mains you should keep in mind that jee mains is one of the most toughest exam of India. You will not find simple chapters here and every chapter that is the part of syllabus is equally important so focus on every chapter.
Thank you
Hope this information helps you.
Some of the chapters which occur in high-frequency in all the years are:
1. Semiconductors (Physics)
2. Work Power Energy (Physics)
3. Thermodynamics (Physics and Chemistry)
4. Electro-Chemistry
5. Solid State (Chemistry)
6. Conic Sections (Maths)
7. Environmental Chemistry
8. Biomolecules and Polymers (Chemistry)
All these chapter have a very high probability of coming in the exam and they are very easy to score. Once you are done with them, then you should be moving towards more advanced topics such as Rotational Motion, Calculus, Ionic Equilibrium and so on.
Moreover, you should aim to focus on a selected few chapters first as clearing the cut-off will be no big deal if you master a select few chapters only, and once you have cleared the cut-off, then no one is stopping you from going any further.
Dear student,
So here are some basic chapters of JEE syllabus. However I recommend you for covering each chapter atleast till moderate level.
Physics :- 1.ktg and thermodynamics
2.gravitation
3.sound waves
4.unit and dimensions
5. motion
Chemistry :-
1.chemical kinetics
2. Solid state
3.mettalurgy
4.structure of atom
Maths :-
1.statistics
2.differential equations
3.area under the curve
4. binomial theorem
5. differentiation
6.sets and relations
7. limits
8.probability
What is your category?
You have not mentioned so I will consider you as general.
Now to answer your question, if we try to find your rank on the marks you have mentioned then we will find that your percentile will be somewhere between 89.04 - 91.9.
On this percentile if we try to find your rank then it will be somewhere around 102300 - 115000.
You can check your predicted rank yourself by going through our rank predictor tool. Below I am mentioning the link of it.

Not too much but you can expect little variation in actual rank and predicted rank as rank depends on various factors.
You can use our college predictor tool to see which colleges you can get based on your rank. I've included a link to it below.
Below I am pasting the link for it.
I hope this answer helps you.
All the very best!!
Dear Aspirant
You might have a chance at the lower NITs like NIT uttarakhand, Imphal, etc and your home state NIT lower branch, if it is not in the list:-
For a complete list of the colleges you can get, use our college predictor tool:
The eligibility for engineering in NIT is as follows candidate must have a pass marks in 12th exam from any recognised educational board. Along with it you must also have good score in JEE MAINS so that your name might come on the merit list of the NITs. Also you won't be given admission just on the basis of 12th marks. And if you plan t o join any other engineering college they will see you PCM marks too and then give you admission.
So since you failed in chemistry I am afraid to say that you chances of getting admissions are very less
