I am a sc student from kerala and i got above 140 marks for neet...I got any chance to get an admission in mbbs/ bams/bhms

Poulomi choudhuri 15th Oct, 2020

Hello student,

It's difficult to predict the exact possibilities of admission. It depends on the lot of factors such as the exam pattern, the number of students appeared, the number of students qualified, the highest score, whether you belong to any category or not.it varies from state to state and it also varies from state quota seats to all india quota seats.

The admission in MBBS BDS BAMS BHMS is done through the basis of NEET score. So with 140 marks the chances of getting government seats seems low. However you can get admission in private medical colleges and deemed universities if you want.

To get an idea about which college you might get you can check the link mentioned below

Hello student,

Candidates who do not come under ‘Keralite’ or 'Non-Keralite

Category I' will be categorised as ‘Non-Keralite Category II'. Such candidates are eligible for

admission to both Government and Management quota seats in Engineering course in Government

controlled Self-Financing colleges. However the ‘Non-Keralite Category II’ (NK II) candidates will

not available for admission. ‘Non-Keralite Category II’ (NK II) candidates are also eligible for

admission to both Government and Management quota seats in Private Self-financing

Engineering/Architecture/Siddha colleges. But for Siddha course, ‘Non-Keralite Category II’ (NK

II) candidates will be considered only when the Keralite and Non-Keralite I (NK I) candidates are

not available for admission. ‘Non-Keralite Category II’ (NK II) candidates are also eligible for

OEC category in Kerala.... Is there is a chance in Kerala Government college through State Quota My Mark is 444

Anurag pal Student Expert 15th Oct, 2020

Hey dear, cutoff varies year to year, if you see the last year's cutoff which went very high that even students getting 500 marks were unable to get a good mbbs govt. College. So, with 444 marks your chances for govt. Mbbs college under state quota is less being an obc candidate, you can get govt. Bams and bhms with these marks easily. Hello,

The cut off changes every year. According to KEAM the last year closing rank for vet colleges was on 13906 rank that is about the marks between 571 -580 of your category. Your score doesn't even seems near. But you can apply for private colleges and other courses as bhms bams bpt which are also good in future.

I am getting 470 mark in NEET 2020 can I get Vetenary College in Kerala I belongs to OEC category

Sayema Siddiqui 14th Oct, 2020
Hello ,
Veterinary colleges have high cut off and the no.of seats are limited.
If you are under OWS category then  you must have to get 500+ to get a government seat . Also it depends on last year cut off but if you are under 85% state quota and 15% Aiq then for general category You have to score minimum 470 marks.

Check the cut off as this depends on too
