Adrija Sarkar 4th Apr, 2019

Hi,

Some of the good options for MBA Core with this percentile in MAH CET, 2019 are:

1. SIMSR Mumbai: K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies And Research

2. Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research (WeSchool), Mumbai

3. N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research, Mumbai

4. IES Management College And Research Centre, Mumbai

5. Chetana’s Institute of Management and Research - CIMR Mumbai

If you are a fresher, then you can try next year. In the meanwhile take up a job to add value to your CV. Devote all your weekends to MBA preparation and aim for 98+ percentile next year to get top colleges like JBIMS, Mumbai. You can also take exams CAT, XAT etc. next year. But if you have 3+ years of work-ex, then you may want to join a college this year.

Hope this helps.

Cheers!

I have scored 75 percentile in mahcet cet but 49.6% in graduation. Can i get any good college in mumbai?

mdsameenabanu Student Expert 3rd Apr, 2019

HI,

Getting into top colleges through MAHCET you require a percentage of 99+ for mms program and 90+ for pdgm program

with your percentile you can get an avg college like thakur mumbai, chetana mumbai,MET MUMBAI,indira pune, rizvi mumbai, patil pune, sinnhgad pune etc

The placements for such colleges wil be Avg like 4-6 lakhs

AND the cutoff for colleges through mahcet for MSS is high then pgdm Programs ,so u need to decide what program you want to join in.

GOOD LUCK

Hi sir, i scored 70.46 in my mah cet 2019 exam and i am a migrant student. What are my chances of getting top colleges in Maharashtra?

Arushi 2nd Apr, 2019

Hi Shradha,

you have got a decent percentile in MAH CET. With 70.46 percentile you won't be able to target any top colleges. I would suggest you to apply for management entrance exam again and try scoring even better. If not with you score you can target ITM, Navi Mumbai, IBS Mumbai., ASM PUNE. and many other. Even though these colleges are good in terms of faculty, infrastructure but not that great in terms of ROI also they have a large number of students intake which will lead to more competition than the top colleges which are good in terms of ROI and less intake.

I hope this will help you in finding the right management college. wish you good luck.
