It is one of the toughest to crack and hence cannot be compared to MAH CET

Almost all the MBA entrance exams including MAH CET covers the same set of topics/syllabus. Only the difficulty level changes with the exam. yes the preference ranking does matter as you need to fill colleges according to the wants and likes of yours

you cannot fill them up randomly as it will affect the outcome definitely

as based on your marks those are poor for getting in any round you may have rare or no chances of getting pharmacy seat & hope in good way if no one takes you may get so gor for 3rd round

You can refer the books by R. S. Agarwal to build the foundation but make sure you take mocks.
