You can directly talk to the college authority. Because it's totally depand on them. Because if you said them to get admission there and block one seat but you are not getting admission there then any college didn't want to let you go. But you can talk to them

If the school/college needs to have KANNADA to be their compulsory criteria then you will have to attempt it. Else there is no need to attempt Kannada Language Paper.
