In Maharashtra there is 8990 MBBS seat and 3440 BDS seats in different Medical College like 56 medical colleges and 37 dental colleges. Near about 30 private medical colleges are there in Maharashtra. All the seats are filled by the exams through NEET.

As per the information brochure released by DMER Mumbai regarding NEET Counselling for state quota of Maharashtra, if you have been allotted a college in Round 1 and you did not reported to that college for seat acceptance then the seat will automatically be cancelled for your name
