Anurag Khanna 27th Jun, 2022

Hello Vivek,

See there is no percentage criteria to appear for JEE-Main but it is required for admission to NITs/IIITs/GFTIs and as per current criteria the 75% criteria has been waived off and now you only need to pass in class 12th so as you have passed in class 12th so you are definitely eligible for admission as well as for JEE-Main and if you qualify JEE-Main then you can definitely appear for JEE-Advance through which you can get admission in IIT Bombay or any other IITs depending upon your JEE-Advance rank but note that  there are some criterion which you need to satisfy in order to appear for JEE-Main so let us discuss them.

JEE-Main eligibility criteria is mentioned below :-

1--- Age criteria :- There is no age limit to appear in JEE-Main but note that there might be the age limit in any particular institution taking admission through JEE-Main score, so you should keep this thing in mind.

2--- Qualifying Examination :- To be eligible for JEE-Main one should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject from any of the recognized central or state board.

3--- Year of qualification :- For JEE-Main 2022 only those candidates who have passed Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 or 2022; or those who will be appearing in Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2022, would be eligible to appear.

So if you follow all above criterion then you are definitely eligible for JEE-Main.

How many i have score in neet 2022 to get govertment medical college in maharashtra ,i am from obc cast

Anurag Khanna 27th Jun, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

See for marks in NEET UG, if we go through previous years cut-offs then according to that, you should try to score at least 600+ marks out of 720 in NEET UG 2022(merely an assumption based on the allotment results of last year) for government medical colleges through state quota counselling of Maharashtra.

You can check out last year's counselling allotment results from the official site as given below :-

https://cetcell.net/UG_NEET_2021/

It is quite difficult to make any accurate prediction of cut-off for any particular college because the cut-off keeps on changing every year depending upon various factors such as :-

*** number of candidates appeared in NEET UG

*** difficulty level of the paper

*** top score for NEET UG

*** total number of seats available for admission and so on.

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor because it will make you comfortable while choice filling in counselling :-

From now only around half a month is left for NEET UG 2022 so you can solve the Test series for NEET UG 2022 for better finishing of your preparation, you can get the Test series from the link given below :-

I filled neet application form from disability quota, i have disability with 26% hearing disability certificate issued from Maharashtra gov is this valid?

Karishma Sawhney 17th May, 2022

Hello aspirant,

A candidate is not eligible for a medical course in the disability quota if he/she has a visual or hearing impairment equal to or more than 40% disability. Since you have less than 40% hearing disability, you can apply for the PWD quota. The MCC has allotted 13 centres that issue disability certificates to required candidates- such as Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research (IPGMER), LHMC Delhi, SMS medical college Jaipur.

Only certificates issued from the mentioned centres will be eligible to avail the 5% PWD quota. Here is a complete list of the centres- https://view.mahacet.org/mahacet/admin/news_document/final23122021.pdf

Hope it helps!
