Yes, you can cancel the seat allotted even after filling the status retention form. To cancel the seat you need to cancel it at the respective college. The college will accept the cancellation and inform the Competent Authority along with copy of the cancellation letter immediately. Last date to cancel the admission to Medical/Dental and Ayush Course will be specified in due course. If you do not cancel the admission after the specified date then you have to pay penalty of Rs. 3,00,000. The cancellation form is in Annexure - X in Maharashtra NEET 2022 UG CAP Counselling.
