Is mathematics textbook enough to get 90+ in MHT-CET? Are all questions asked directly from textbook by changing values only??

Jaswanth Vemula 3rd Jul, 2019

Hello P Patil,

I gave MHTCET last year, and I haven't scored 180+ but I have a decent score that assured my seat in COEP. But all I have learnt is Maharashtra state board books are enough to score decent but scoring 180+ you need to do a little more.

tyagi2001ayush_9087518 Student Expert 31st May, 2019
Hello dear aspirant

Your question makes no sense,  because IISER BHOPAL is one of the best institutions of the country and comparison of IISER with AMITY university makes no sense.
You should definitely opt for IISER for doing your P. hd because IISER bhopal is a government funded institute and

Placement is good in m.sc. in mathematics or m.sc. in computing mathematics .

Tanvi Uppal 21st Apr, 2019
Dear aspirant,

The placement scenario is quite good for MSc Mathematics students. Some times it is even better than most of the engineers and other master holders. Due to high demand of analytical skills and booming data analytics sector Maths and Stats are the most sought departments.

Hello aspirant,

This year's paper was relatively tough and there will be some decrement in the cutoffs as well it will be around 15 to 17 for general category in Mathematics.

You can get an idea from the previous year's ranks vs marks tally of some students

Hope you understand,

Y=(2logx+3x)to the power of e. Then find the dy/dx.

sunnysarkar018 15th Dec, 2020
Y=e^(2logx+3x)
=e^(logx^2).e^3x
=x^2.e^3x

dy/dx = 2x.e^3x+x^2.3.e^3x
=2x.e^3x+3x^2.e^3x

dy/dx=cos(x+y) solve by veritable separable metho

dharmesh.me26_8493541 Student Expert 22nd Apr, 2019

Hi Kumar!

dy/dx= cos(x+y)                    =>(1)

let x+y = v

then, 1 +dy/dx = dv/dx

dy/dx = dv/dx-1

Put x+y = v and dy/dx = dv/dx - 1   in  eq. (1)

dv/dx - 1 = cosv

dv/dx = cos v +1

(1/(1+cosv)).dv=dx

(1/2)sec^2(v/2).dv=dx

Integrating both sides we get tan(v/2)=x+C

Thus tan((x+y)/2)
