Eligibility required for NIFT exam is that student must have qualify 10+2 exam from any recognised board with physics, chemistry andaths. So i think its important to clear lath subject in 12th board for appearing in NIFT exam.

The students who have passed class 12th board examination or are appearing in the examination the same year as the NIFT exam are eligible. Since, you are appearing in class 12th board next year, so you will be eligible for NIFT 2019.

B.Des (Leather Design course) is offered by National Institute of Fashion Technology which is an Undergraduate course. 6 months course in Leather Technology is not offered by NIFT. You can go through the link below and check the list of courses 6 months courses offered by NIFT campuses.

NIFT has never mentioned anywhere that a enrolled student can take the exam again.
I don't think it allows to write again.

Yes, you are eligible to appear for NIFT exams.
As per the eligibility the maximum age should be 23 years as on 1st October, 2018. The upper age limit may be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for candidates of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/ Person with Disability (PWD) categories. You can check the further eligibility of the exam
